2013 Assisting an orphanage in Burma (Myanmar)
The next place to attract our attention was an orphanage in Burma (Myanmar). ADMF fundraising activities received AU$10,000 in donations which was spent on the purchase of two blocks of land Burma. One block to grow fruit and vegetables, and the other to raise ducks and chickens. Our vision for the development of the land was to support farming that would supply the orphanage with food, and would help them with ongoing income from the sale of produce.
