As part of activities marking International Women’s Day, the Amurri Divine Mercy Foundation hosted a special medical outreach at its complex in Enugu. It was not just a medical intervention but also a celebration of compassion, service, and the power of partnership. The day highlighted the Foundation’s ongoing commitment to improving health and uplifting lives in the community.
Essential supplies to leper colonies
The Amurri Divine Mercy Foundation recently organised an outreach to leper colonies, bringing much-needed relief and support to communities that are often overlooked. Volunteers and team members delivered essential supplies including food, clean water, clothing, and basic medical items. The distribution was met with warmth and gratitude, as many families expressed how these provisions would ease their daily struggles.
Beyond the supplies, the visit created an atmosphere of compassion and solidarity. Conversations with residents reminded everyone present that dignity and hope can flourish when care is shared. The outreach not only provided material support but also strengthened the bond between the Foundation and the communities it serves. It was a day of kindness, service, and renewed commitment to humanity.
